It is intended to bring together experts and young researchers working in areas where disorder plays an important role. The goal is to create an engaging and motivating scientific environment in which participants can present recent advances, exchange ideas, and develop new collaborations. The workshop will have a broad scope, with a particular focus on: Transport and localization in disordered systems, Wave and quantum transport in 2D materials and nanosystems, Quantum topology in materials, Decoherence and dephasing in quantum systems, Quantum AI for disordered systems. <strong>A limited number of spots remain available for oral contributions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Conference \u00ab\u00a0Localisation 2026\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/span><br \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The international school and conference, Localisation 2026,\u00a0\u00a0will be held at Kyoto University, Japan, from August 31st to September 11th, 2026. Bringing together around 60 early-career researchers and academic entrepreneurs, the Camp fosters open discussion at the interface of photonics and complexity through plenary talks, contributed presentations, posters, and evening debates. Topics include nano-optics in complex systems, metamaterials and time-varying media, wave transport, imaging in turbid media, optical neural networks, biomimetics in photonics, and more. Early-career scientists (PhD students, postdocs, and young group leaders) are invited to submit an abstract by 3 April 2026. It\u00a0is focused on light\u2013matter interaction, quantum optics, ultracold atoms and molecules, photonics, quantum simulation, and quantum science.
