International Workshop on Disordered Systems (IWDS26)
<\/b>The workshop IWDS26 will take place in Montreal, Canada, from June 15 to 19, 2026: www.IWDS26.ca<\/a><\/b>. It is intended to bring together experts and young researchers working in areas where disorder plays an important role. The goal is to create an engaging and motivating scientific environment in which participants can present recent advances, exchange ideas, and develop new collaborations. The workshop will have a broad scope, with a particular focus on: Transport and localization in disordered systems, Wave and quantum transport in 2D materials and nanosystems, Quantum topology in materials, Decoherence and dephasing in quantum systems, Quantum AI for disordered systems. A limited number of spots remain available for oral contributions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Conference \u00ab\u00a0Localisation 2026\u00a0\u00bb<\/b><\/span>
The international school and conference, Localisation 2026,\u00a0\u00a0will be held at Kyoto University, Japan, from August 31st to September 11th, 2026. Complex Nanophotonics Science Camp 2026
<\/b>The next Complex Nanophotonics Science Camp will take place 3-6 August 2026 at Cumberland Lodge, a historic royal residence near London. Bringing together around 60 early-career researchers and academic entrepreneurs, the Camp fosters open discussion at the interface of photonics and complexity through plenary talks, contributed presentations, posters, and evening debates. Topics include nano-optics in complex systems, metamaterials and time-varying media, wave transport, imaging in turbid media, optical neural networks, biomimetics in photonics, and more. Early-career scientists (PhD students, postdocs, and young group leaders) are invited to submit an abstract by 3 April 2026. Workshop on multiple wave scattering in locally resonant materials with degrees of (dis)order
<\/span><\/strong><\/span>The workshop \u00ab\u00a0Multiple Wave Scattering in Locally Resonant Materials with Degrees of (Dis)Order\u00a0\u00bb will be held at the Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Cambridge (UK) on 3-14 August 2026 (https:\/\/www.newton.ac.uk\/event\/mwsw06\/<\/a>). It is a follow-up to the INI 2023 programme on Mathematical theory and applications of multiple wave scattering (https:\/\/www.newton.ac.uk\/event\/mws\/<\/a>). The workshop will gather applied mathematicians and theoretical physicists to advance the mathematical design and analysis of wave propagation in metamaterials and complex media for a wide variety of applications of major importance for industry<\/span><\/p>\n

Doctoral Training on Atoms and Photons
<\/strong>This doctoral school \u00a0will take place at the\u00a0\u00c9cole de Physique des Houches (France)\u00a0from\u00a0June 22nd to July 3rd 2026<\/strong>. It\u00a0is focused on light\u2013matter interaction, quantum optics, ultracold atoms and molecules, photonics, quantum simulation, and quantum science. The program includes lectures and seminars from the invited speakers and several poster sessions for extended discussions between participants.\u00a0The list of confirmed speakers is available on the conference website.\u00a0https:\/\/photon-atoms-26.leshouches.science\/<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n
