The Science Camp brought together around 60 early-career scientists in fields at the interface of photonics and complexity to openly discuss the latest research and help develop the complex nanophotonics community. Science Camp was designed for young scientists (young group leaders, post-docs and PhD students), combining plenary sessions by top speakers, invited lectures and contributions by early-career scientists, long poster sessions and evening debates. <span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Scientific topics included nano-optics in complex systems, metamaterials and time-varying media, wave transport and mesoscopic phenomena, imaging in turbid media, deep learning and optical neural networks, quantum optics in disordered media, biomimetics in photonics, optical micromanipulation, and much more.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b class=\"\">Summer school \u00ab\u00a0Wave Propagation and Control in Complex Media 2024 &#8211; Mesoscopic Phenomena and Applications<\/b><b class=\"\">\u00ab\u00a0<br \/><\/b>This regular school on waves and imaging in complex media was supported by the GDR Complexe and took place in Carg\u00e8se, Corsica, from the 15th to the 19th of April 2024. It focused on advancing mathematical, numerical and experimental techniques, and modelling across the different branches of wave science, including acoustics, elasticity, optics, gravitation, seismology, and water waves among others.<\/span><span class=\"\">\u00a0<\/span>2024 also marked the 10-year anniversary of the conference.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong class=\"\">International Conference on Quantum Simulation<br \/><\/strong>This conference, organized by Laurent Sanchez-Palencia and J\u00e9r\u00f4me Beugnon, was supported by the GDR COMPLEXE and took place at\u00a0Ecole Polytechnique\u00a0in Palaiseau (near by Paris) from the13th to the 17th of November 2023. The conference presented an up to date perspective on the thriving field of quantum simulation. The scientific program combined invited tutorial talks by prominent specialists of the field, contributed talks and poster presentations. It was co-organized by the GDR COMPLEXE and the SFO, with support from CNRS.\u00a0It consisted of general lectures on wave transport, imaging, control of waves in complex media and atomic physics (6 to 8 hours each), complemented by\u00a0shorter seminars shedding light on the most recent developments.
